The super success of her Telugu movie 'Bommarillu’, has made Genelia red-hot
property in the Telugu film industry. This will be Genelia's third Bollywood
movie. She earlier acted in 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' and 'Masti'.

Born in Mumbai, she moved with her family from Goa to England. But as she bore
the dream of becoming an actress, she later shifted back to India to turn her
dream into a reality. Yes….we are talking about the south beauty Genelia D’Souza,
who has marked her presence in the Bollywood with her recent movie 'Mere Baap
Pehle Aap' and is looking forward to secure her position with her coming film 'Jaane
Tu Ya Jaane Na' in which she is staring opposite to Aamir’s nephew Imran Khan.

The actress has been quite popular in the Tollywood where she has given many hit
movies like Happy and Bommarillu. So much so, that her debut movie in Kannada, 'Satya'
In Love grossed 4 crores in opening week, thus setting a new record in the
Kannada film industry. The film went on to become a huge blockbuster.

Genelia also starred in the big budget Boys directed by Shankar. The film proved
to be a box-office hit and launched her career.

The actress has large dark eyes with killing smile. She has an uncommon look
which parts her from others. She doesn’t have airy looks like Kangna Ranawat or
Celina Jaitley nor is she glamorous like Bipasha or Kareena. She can aptly be
called the ‘girl-next-door’ who is ready to take on to your nerves as she opens
her mouth. Her unique speaking quality and bubbly expressions do not fail to
sweep you off the grounds. She has got a fresh momento in her acts.

Recently, she won the Filmfare Award for the Best Actress for her performance in
the blockbuster movie 'Bommarillu'. She is yet to rock the Bollywood with her
vibrant colours with her coming movies: It’s My Life in which she paired with
Harman Baweja and a multistarrer movie 'Life Partner'.
