52 Loves 21

Everyone knows my favorite number...

52
 (52 weekends in a year...
...52 chances to get to the flea market!)

...and I thank all of you who have emailed me of Ebay or Etsy listings with my special number...
...some of these 52 finds I have claimed as my own!

Additionally I am especially grateful to a few of you who have sent me surprise packages with a 52 inside!
How sweet and thoughtful is that?

One of those special friends is my dear friend Manon....
...many of you know her from her beautiful blog Manon 21.

We found each other online in the early days of my blogging journey and we have corresponded ever since...

In fact, I would consider Manon
to be one of my very best blogging friends!
We share a love of antiques, vintage textiles and hunting treasures at the brocantes in France or flea markets here in the USA.

Last week, I received a package in the mail from dear Manon...
Wrapped up in this antique French newspaper and tied with a beautiful black and pink ribbon were all sorts of tiny treasures handmade by Manon...
...just for me!

There were tiny custom tags for me to use on gifts and packages...

Pretty little hand made linen bags with my number 52 stamped on the front....
Cut out black and white circles with number 52
to tie on vintage treasures or packages with string or ribbon...

All sorts of handmade tags and stamped treasures!

And this vintage circle tag with, of course, that spectacular number 52

...and this is not the first package of French styled 52's I have received from Manon! She has sent vintage game pieces, enamel numbers and other wonderful handmade treasures
...created just for me.

I am always on the lookout for her special number too...

21

Thank you Manon!

Some day Manon and I will have the opportunity to
meet face to face...
It will be as if we have always known each other.
I look forward to that day!
We will probably go antiquing together!
:)

I hope that you are having a good weekend too!
