August Treasure Hunt

...my photo layered with a Kim Klassen texture.

Dan and I are back at the lake with my parents and sister Mary Beth and nephew Joe...

It promises to be another beautiful August day in the Adirondacks and I will be off treasure hunting bright and early Saturday morning!

I am headed toward Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake as the annual Antique Show is at the museum. I am not sure if I will make it to the actual show as the peripheral dealers who tailgate along the route usually keep me pretty entertained.

On the drive up Dan humored me and we stopped at one of my favorite antique cooperative shops ....

...I found a few things that tickled my fancy... oh, yes I did!

...pictures tomorrow evening!

I promise!

Winding Down

It was a beautiful day here at the lake!
Picked a handful of daisies and buttercups...

Had lots of hot coffee...

...and some fine feathered company.

Continued sprucing up the place...getting ready for friends and family...
Took some time to relax, read and enjoy the sunshine...
... and to take a few pictures...
...pretty scented homemade soaps and vintage clothespins in old and worn green enamel pans.

I loved my few days alone at the lake...
...and will be happy to see Mr. Flea and Starla this weekend!

I hope you have plans for a good weekend too!
:)
