natural sanctuary

I have been back from Italy for a few weeks now and am already craving another getaway. A lovely little escape to this vacation home would be quite divine. I love the simple design, natural elements and neutral palette--a perfect combination for a sanctuary.

a modern cave

A modern cave--sounds like an oxymoron but it this particular "cave" is just that! The rough stone and terra cotta tile are a lovely backdrop for the modern fixtures, furniture and hardware. There is there something so nostalgic and refreshing about this eat in kitchen and I am stunned by the way the room is anything but dark. Truly an inspiring and natural space.
