If I didn't love Italian cuisine (particularly anything with red sauce) so much I would most certainly have a cool white dining area. Here are just two reasons why...
After all that color talk I saw a friends whitewashed bedroom this evening and was reminded once again of the perfect serenity that comes with the absence of color (color vs. none is my constant battle) especially when texture it is added. This dressing room and these pieces are perfect examples.. (via interiors magazine) (dvfwallet, michaelkors shirt, pillow from jayson home and garden, antik batik cutout dress, prada flats, and br bracelet) Hope you all had a good weekend!
Ok, yes it is after labor day but no matter what time of the year white is always in style. I think that I actually put more white pieces in to my closet than I took out when I did the seasonal wardrobe switch. So with snow in the weather forecast for the rest of the week I thought it would be appropriate to have a little ode to winter white!
The soft gray and taupe palettes of these rooms are definitley soothing to my eyes after a hectic day of work. The perfect transition to a quiet and relaxing evening... (via apartment 34 and tony hutchinson) Oh, and a bath in that lovely claw footed tub would be quite lovely too! Hope you all have a lovely evening.
